United MileagePlus Shopping portal is offering a bonus on purchases between now and October 13th.

Similar to their Back-To-School promotion, this promotion is tiered based on your cumulative shopping totals with their partners when you link through their website.  You have only 11 days to complete your purchases, from October 2nd through the 13th.

Spend $150 and earn 500 bonus MileagePlus miles or spend a minimum of $350 and earn 1,500 bonus MileagePlus miles.  You are limited to only one bonus during the entire promotional period.

United MileagePlus has many shopping partners including Apple, Best Buy and Walmart.  Any credit card can be used.  Currently Chase Freedom card is offering 5X the points for every dollar spend at Walmart and department stores.  You can really tack on the points if you take advantage of their promotion.
