Hong Kong is a magical city of natural beauty, amazing architecture, friendly people and mouthwatering food. At the Intercontinental Grand Stanford, you get a wonderful sample of what makes Hong Kong one of the places I love to visit.

Located on the 18th floor, the Sun Court Pool and Fitness Center is a great way to stay active or lounge around and get some sun. (Unfortunately no to much sun was available when I was there in February). The staff was attentive and provided towels and water for either of your needs.

The pool was fantastic. Surprisingly the pool is heated in the winter and was a rather refreshing way to pass some time in February. Unfortunately the walls are rather high and therefore do not provide a view of the river or Hong Kong island.

The fitness center was very large and well stocked. There were rooms with free weights, nautilus equipment and stationary exercise equipment like treadmills and ellipticals. The attendants keep the rooms spotless and cleaned the machines after every use.
Conclusion:
The Intercontinental Grand Stanford is a jewel in the Tsim Sha Tsui section of Hong Kong. From the attentive and caring staff, the magnificent views of Hong Kong island, modern amenities and delicious food, this hotel will have everybody coming back for more. As I did not purchase club lounge access or a club level room, I could not comment on it. It was popular and you can have breakfast served buffet style. The hotel also featured one of my favorite buffets in the world, Cafe on M. Review forthcoming. I look forward to my return visit to Hong Kong and another great stay at Intercontinental Grand Stanford.
