From now till August 21st, 2017, you will receive a 35% miles bonus on miles earned from converting qualified hotel points to Aeroplan miles.

There are many available hotel partners, but no included is the Intercontinental Hotel Group or Hyatt.  The conversion rates of each hotel is different and transfer times vary.  If you are in need of some last minute points to top off your account for an immediate redemption, this might be a good option for you.  Please note the bonus will be calculated at the end of the promotional period based on all miles earned from the conversions during the promotion.   The bonus will reflect into your account between 4-6 weeks after the end of the promotional period.

I would not recommend converting hotel points to airline miles speculatively as mileage for redemptions can change sporadically and sometimes without notice.
